2018 Resolutions

As we move into 2018, many of us may have made some of the traditional resolutions such as losing weight, exercising more, eating healthier, being kinder to others, worrying less, etc. I reflect on a Lenten sermon I once heard about β€œgiving up resentment, anger and frustration.” It occurs to me that if I could give up resentment, anger and frustration, I might just lose some weight, exercise more, eat healthier and be kinder to others. So, in 2018, instead of resolving to do something more, I am going to resolve to do something less. Does this make any sense?
