As we move into 2018, many of us may have made some of the traditional resolutions such as losing weight, exercising more, eating healthier, being kinder to others, worrying less, etc. I reflect on a Lenten sermon I once heard about βgiving up resentment, anger and frustration.β It occurs to me that if I could give up resentment, anger and frustration, I might just lose some weight, exercise more, eat healthier and be kinder to others. So, in 2018, instead of resolving to do something more, I am going to resolve to do something less. Does this make any sense?
