February 18th from 10 am to 2 pm head down to Pueblo Reservoir to show it some love. This all-ages FREE event will have a guided hike, informational booths, and special activities to enjoy.
2. Experience winter on the frontier
Saturday come to the Fountain Creek Nature Center to learn the survival skills and techniques that early natives and pioneers used to make it through harsh Colorado winters. This event is for anyone 7 or older, preregistration is required.
3. Join the Great Backyard Bird Count!
February 17-20th the world comes together for the Great Backyard Bird Count - and your family can join in on the fun! You only need to spend about 15 minutes bird watching, then share the data of what you saw to help scientists and conversationalists. Get all the details at https://www.birdcount.org/
4. Take them out to the ball game
This weekend the Thunderwolves softball team is taking on Regis at the Rawlings Softball complex on both Saturday and Sunday. They will be playing a doubleheader and tickets are good for both games. Get your tickets here.
EPIC Pueblo and the El Pueblo History Museum are teaming up this Monday the 20th at 10 am, to bring you Beyond Storytime. Listen to the story, then stay for a special presentation after.
