Starting Friday, June 9th

By Macaroni Kid Pueblo June 9, 2023

Pueblo is full of amazing things to do all summer long. Two of Macaroni Kid Pueblo's favorite places for family fun are the Rides at City Park and the Mesa Drive in. If you haven't heard they are both OPEN FOR THE SUMMER!!!!!!!

Here are five things ideas for some family fun this weekend in Pueblo!

The Rides at City Park are open Thursdays and Fridays from 5pm to 9pm. Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 9pm.

This year, you have the option to buy a wrist band for unlimited rides! Or you can use the 25-cent tickets.

Drive-in movies at Mesa Drive-in start at different times throughout the summer since they need to wait for the sun, but the gates open at 7pm. Do not worry about getting there before the movie, because hanging out at the drive-in before the show is so much fun. Let the kids play, enjoy some snacks, make new friends, and before you know it - it will be show time!

June 10th the Summer Kick-Off Market will be from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Pueblo Mall. Stop by to shop, enjoy the local food trucks, and great vendors.

June 10th the Haven Dance Summer Kick Off Pool Party! will be from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Pueblo Athletic Club. This party is not just for current Haven students, anyone interested in their programs is invited. Learn more HERE

Sunday, June 11th there will be Open Mic Night at the Sacred Bean from  6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. It will be an incredible event with spoken word, readings, music, magic and more.

When the weekend is over head to BradFord park!

Books in the Park at Bradford Park is from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this summer. (except for June 19th and July 4th) Stop by for free books, free lunch for kids, and storytimes (storytimes are just on Tuesdays.)

Note: we try our best to verify details, but things can change. Be sure to verify information with a venue or host before going.
